1. What this policy covers
Cookies are small files stored by a browser. The current application primarily uses localStorage and sessionStorage rather than named first-party cookies. These technologies can still store identifiers and preferences, so they are included here.
Authentication infrastructure may use operational browser mechanisms managed by Base44. The register below lists every named storage key detected in the application source.
2. Detected technologies
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| scope-cookie-consent-v1 | Scope Cloud | Stores cookie category choices and the date they were changed. | Until changed or browser storage is cleared | Strictly necessary |
| base44_access_token | Base44 | Keeps an authenticated user signed in and authorises protected requests. | Until logout, expiry or browser storage is cleared | Strictly necessary |
| base44_app_id | Base44 | Identifies the Scope Cloud application to platform services. | Until browser storage is cleared | Strictly necessary |
| base44_functions_version | Base44 | Routes requests to the compatible backend-function version. | Until browser storage is cleared | Strictly necessary |
| base44_app_base_url | Base44 | Maintains the correct application service address. | Until browser storage is cleared | Strictly necessary |
| base44_from_url | Base44 | Returns a user to the intended page after authentication. | Until replaced or browser storage is cleared | Strictly necessary |
| scope-pending-consent | Scope Cloud | Temporarily carries registration legal and marketing choices until they are recorded to the account. | Current browser session or until recorded | Strictly necessary |
| scope-selected-plan | Scope Cloud | Temporarily preserves the plan selected during registration. | Current browser session | Functional |
| scope-billing-interval | Scope Cloud | Remembers whether monthly or annual prices are shown during the current visit. | Current browser session | Functional |
| scope-loader-seen | Scope Cloud | Prevents the introductory loader repeating during the current visit. | Current browser session | Functional |
3. Strictly necessary
Necessary storage supports authentication, security, application routing, legal consent recording and a registration or account action requested by the user. It cannot be switched off through the preference centre because the relevant service cannot operate reliably without it.
4. Functional
Functional storage remembers optional interface choices such as billing display and whether the visit loader has been shown. It defaults to off and is written only after functional consent. Rejecting it does not prevent core account access.
5. Analytics
No dedicated analytics technology is currently detected or loaded. Analytics remains off by default. If analytics is introduced, the provider, technology name, purpose and duration must be added here before it is enabled for consenting users.
6. Marketing
No advertising pixel or marketing-storage technology is currently detected or loaded. Marketing remains off by default and is not preselected. Registration marketing consent is separate from browser-storage consent.
7. Your choices
The banner presents Accept all and Reject non-essential with clear actions, plus custom preferences. Choices are stored in scope-cookie-consent-v1. Use Cookie Preferences in the footer at any time to withdraw or change optional consent.
Withdrawing consent prevents future optional storage. You may clear existing site data through browser settings; doing so can sign you out and reset preferences.
8. Third-party resources
The public site loads fonts from Google Fonts and Fontshare and media from Base44-hosted URLs. These requests may reveal technical information such as IP address and browser headers to the provider, but no provider-specific cookie was detected in this codebase.
9. Contact
Questions about browser storage or consent can be sent to privacy@scope.cloud.
