Refund Policy

Last updated 14 July 2026

This policy describes how Scope Cloud handles refund requests without promising discretionary refunds beyond approved terms or statutory rights.

1. General approach

Subscription charges pay for access during the selected billing period. A cancellation that takes effect at period end does not normally create a refund for time already available. This does not affect statutory rights or correction of a billing error.

2. UK consumer rights

Consumers may have cancellation and remedies under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015. Depending on the service and consent given at checkout, a deduction may lawfully apply for service supplied during a cooling-off period, or a cancellation right for immediately supplied digital content may be affected.

Where digital content or service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or does not conform to the contract, statutory repeat-performance, price-reduction or refund remedies may apply. Nothing here limits those rights.

3. Billing errors and duplicate charges

Confirmed duplicate, unauthorised or incorrect charges will be investigated and corrected. Report the charge promptly with the account email, invoice reference, date and amount. Do not send full card details.

4. Monthly subscriptions

Stopping a monthly renewal normally leaves access active until the current monthly period ends. Refund requests outside statutory rights are assessed against the order terms, service supplied and any confirmed billing or service failure; no automatic discretionary refund is promised.

5. Annual subscriptions

Stopping annual renewal normally leaves access active until the annual period ends. Partial-year refunds are not promised unless required by law, stated in an enterprise order, or approved for a confirmed billing or service issue.

6. Business customers

Business customers do not receive consumer cooling-off rights. Refunds, credits and service remedies follow the order form, any applicable service level agreement, and law. A credit offered for a service issue is not an admission of liability.

7. Requesting review

Email billing@scope.cloud from the account email with the workspace, plan, charge date, amount and reason. Scope Cloud may request proportionate evidence and will respond after checking payment and service records. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible; provider processing time is outside Scope Cloud's direct control.
